In this workshop we will be exploring what it means to musically ‘lock in’ together. Through a series of rhythmic activities utilizing body percussion and vocalisation, ranging from easy to more challenging, the participants will delve into the concept of ‘communal pulse’ and develop the skills needed to be part of a rhythmic fabric.

• Percussionists & Drummers of all stripes

• Other musicians

• Upper high school percussion students (Years10-12)

• Tertiary percussion students

• General public

• Non-participating audience members in an observing capacity
